RKF Engineering Services has been contracted by our client, a mining company located in the Bowen Basin, Queensland to provide visual inspections and concrete condition surveys of the concrete structures across their mine sites.  

As part of the contract, we have separately developed inspection procedures and scopes of work for the structures to enable the mines to standardise the way that concrete inspections are performed. 

Inspection findings and defects are documented to the client using their in-house inspection software package accompanied by engineering reports for each inspection. 

The success of the contract delivery has resulted in RKF Engineering Services being awarded a variation to the contract to provide engineering design of repairs identified during the inspections.
