Emma Pilbeam, Board Member 

Emma is the General Manager for Growth and Development at Downer Professional Services, a business unit within Downer Group providing project and engineering technical and advisory services to Federal Government customers including the Department of Defence, the Department of Home Affairs and Services Australia. Emma is the President of the ACT Chapter of the Australian Industry and Defence Network, a national industry body representing Australian-owned Small to Medium Enterprises in the Defence Industry.

Prior to her current role, Emma worked in a variety of professional services roles in Downer Group and KPMG where she provided program and project management, test and evaluation and risk management support to large acquisition programs in the Department of Defence including the Middle East Region ICT Upgrade Program and various military satellite communications programs.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Security Analysis from ANU, a Master of Capability and Technology Management from UNSW and a Master of Strategic Studies from ANU.
