Position Scope

Our design team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced draftsperson to join our newly established Mackay office. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, this role will see you work on a range of mining, ports and heavy infrastructure remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on ongoing critical projects with a key focus on safety and quality.
• Plan and complete assigned drafting projects to a high standard within agreed budgets and deadlines.
• Provide structural drafting services to support the design team.
• Provide onsite support during audits and inspections when required.

Selection Criteria

Whilst there will be on-the-job training and the opportunity for career progression, the successful applicant will ideally have:

• 10+ years’ structural drafting experience – local experience preferred
• 5+ years AutoCAD and Microstation experience
• Expertise using Revit would be highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and take pride in their work
• Experience undertaking site inspections will be advantageous
• Be currently residing in Australia
• Current Australian drivers license
• Fluent in English
