Larry is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 20 years’ experience delivering structural design, inspection and condition assessment, load rating and capacity assessment, asset management, and remediation and strengthening solutions. His expertise also includes independent design verification (IDV) and construction-phase technical support and supervision.
Larry has extensive experience leading structural design within multidisciplinary projects from concept through to construction across the transport, rail, mining, maritime and water sectors. He is recognised for implementing practical and innovative design solutions that optimise project outcomes and deliver strong commercial value for clients.
He specialises in advanced structural techniques, including FRP strengthening and non-linear seismic analysis for complex bridge structures. Larry also has experience in the assessment and remediation of heritage bridges, balancing modern engineering requirements with preservation considerations, and has presented technical papers at both national and international conferences.
